Takumi Enterprise Co., Ltd. (President: Takumi Morioka) provided aerial filming with its own helicopter for the film "TOKYO MER: Mobile Emergency Room – Nankai Mission" (distributed by Toho), released nationwide in Japan on Friday 1 August 2025.
The film is the cinema version of a hit TV drama about the "TOKYO MER" team, who rush to disaster sites in an ER car, a large vehicle with an operating room, and risk their own safety to save patients. One of its highlights is its realistic portrayal of a large-scale disaster.
We flew our helicopter to film overhead views of the island that is a key setting in the film. The large shots of the whole island from the air give the film a grand scale and a real sense of presence, and were used to support the world of the story.
